Wellness Wednesdays brings us to Dawson Creek Veterinary Clinic, in Dawson Creek BC. Dr. Mike Ross and his team of doctors, Dr. Christa Harder, Dr. Gudrun Gunther, Dr. Matt Allan, and Dr. Amanda Breuer would like to take this time to recognize one of their own doctors.
Dr. Zoe Ross, at the Dawson Creek Veterinary Clinic, has a special interest in orthopedic
surgery and rehabilitation. She has taken several orthopedic courses since graduation from veterinary school including a week long fracture stabilization course. She has also done several training sessions in canine rehabilitation through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. She routinely repairs long bone fractures using external skeletal fixation (as seen in picture) and stifle stabilization surgeries. She enjoys providing post operative follow up and offering rehabilitation services to her clients. She enjoys the reward of seeing a pet getting to enjoy life and being active with his/her family after recovering from a fractured limb and looks forward to continuing to learn and grow as a veterinarian in her future.
